 Do you play on PC/Console or both?

"I primarily play on PC but I do 

own a PS4 and an Xbox One S. 

They hardly see any use, though." 

What are some games you enjoy streaming? "For the past two 

months I have been streaming mainly Overwatch. I also really enjoyed streaming Tom 

Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege. Darwin Project is also super fun to stream because of the viewer 

interactivity that comes with the Twitch extension for it. Mainly Overwatch, though."

How long have you been streaming for? "This time? Roughly 5 months 

consistently. I used to stream about 6 years ago when I played Halo 4 competitively."

 What are your hobbies outside of streaming? "I listen to a lot of 

music. A LOT. I also really enjoy Magic The Gathering, although It's a super expensive hobby."

What made you become a streamer? "Back when I used to stream and 

compete in Halo, I was never happier. The past few years of my life have been rough 

emotionally and I finally kicked myself into gear and got back into doing what I love. 

Streaming."

 Is there anyone you look up to? " I really look up to Ninja. I've been 

following him since he was playing Halo: Reach and have always been a fan from his time as 

a Halo pro to now as a full time streamer. He is living proof that if someone REALLY wants 

something, and puts in the time and effort to obtain it, it will happen."

What do you love about the LurkSpeed community? 

"I love that LurkSpeed has an actual sense of community and friendship among the 

members. Most other communities I've been a part of seemed more self serving from the Top 

Dog all the way down to the average members. Blaine truly just wants to create an 

environment for small streamers to meet and network with each other. I've made friends 

throughout all my communities, but LurkSpeed has made the most impact on me as a 

streamer and as a person."

 If you had the chance to give a new streamer advice, what would it be?   

" Do not be discouraged by having low follower/viewer count for a while. I streamed for zero 

viewers for a WHILE before I gained any traction. Don't bother with Follow for Follow, either. 

A follow means nothing if they never actually come to your stream."

 Last but not least: As a child, who was your favorite super hero and villain?

"I have to answer this a bit weird. The Punisher is my all time favorite (anti) hero. If it HAS to 

be super hero, I would say The X Men (Gambit mainly.) I mean, come on. I have the X Men 

logo tattooed on my forearm. My favorite super villain is Magneto. Dude can control even 

the tiniest bit of metal. Super rad."

StriderEb has been a part of LurkSpeed for a great lengthy 

time. He has supported so many streamers and been such a 

great member of LurkSpeed.  He has always made new 

members feel  welcome into the great community while he 

has also dedicated time to help others when he can.

   Where are you from? "Born in MA but live in RI, USA"

       

 

   Do you play on PC/Console or both?  "PC, Nintendo Switch and mobile."

       

   What are some games you enjoy streaming?  "PUBG,

Scrap Mechanic, Squids from Space, Subnautica, indies and

some popular games."

       

  How long have you been streaming for? "I created an

account last year but haven’t really started streaming till

November 2017."

      

 What are your hobbies outside of streaming?  "Spending

time with my family, traveling, reading history working on

cars, binge watching tv, and football."  

     

What made you become a streamer? "Love gaming and

don’t always have time to meet new people. I enjoy the

opportunity to relate to others and make friends. I also hope

to turn gaming into my dream job."

      

 Is there anyone you look up too? "I look up to God. (Yes I

pray.) Also I look up to hardworking parents and self made

people and streamers who grind no matter what."

  What made you come up with the LurkSpeed community? 

"I was a member of a community that was supposed to be

about support for support but I found I supported so much

for many months even giving bits, follows, hosts and

shoutouts and not one member of that team ever came to

one of my streams or events and not a thank you. So I

decided to create a community that was REAL and wouldn’t

leave out the little people."

   

What is your goal as the founder of LurkSpeed? "My goals

for Lurkspeed are: 1. Help everyone that is part of our

community and also help anyone that supports others. Help

them grow or help make friends or join them and have fun

and/or help them monetize. Whatever their goals may be. 2.

Build a real life gaming center that any member can come to

real life and game and crash overnight.A chill community

lounge. 3. Help people who are struggling with real life

issues and also provide support and help for gaming and

tech related issues."

   

If you had the chance to give a new streamer advice, what would it be? 

"Don’t give up. Anyone can succeed. Be humble and friendly.

Don’t be toxic and think of others feelings. Make friends and

don’t forget them." 

  

 I love saving my random questions til the end so, last but not least: What is your favorite breakfast food?  "I would

have to say crepes with fresh fruit, french vanilla coffee and

some O.J."

Welcome to LurkSpeed Gaming

        LurkSpeed is a friendly gaming and streaming community of small streamers that help and support other small streamers.  The community was found in 2017 by Blaine The Pain  when he became aware of other teams who were mainly supporting larger streamers or their top members.

       LurkSpeed has grown to over 100 members, with 40+ being very active in the community. 


How does LurkSpeed support streamers? 

LurkSpeed supports streamers by lurking, chatting or hosting, raiding or even sending bits to other streamers and just by clearly being active. 


This community is a great opportunity for small streamers on Twitch to really get to know each other, and network and support one another and build friendships and growth along the way. 


Who is eligible to be apart of LurkSpeed community? 

Technically any streamer or gamer can be apart of this great community. There is an application process that you can apply through LurkSpeed's Discord server.  The application process is not hard at all, and in the meantime of waiting to become accepted, there are a lot of great streamers to mingle with!
